The PA WIC Program is committed to improving the health of eligible pregnant women, new mothers, and children by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthy foods & referral to health and social programs during the critical stages of fetal and early childhood development.
The official WIC Program is available to low to moderate income pregnant women, recently delivered women, breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to five [5] years of age who have a nutritional risk. Fathers can also bring their children to apply for WIC. You may apply for WIC if you are working or unemployed.

- Nutrition Services
- Farmers Market Nutrition Program
Applicants must have a nutrional risk; which is determined through a health screening conducted by a health professional at no cost to the applicant. A nutrional risk could include a dietary risk such as inappropriate nutrition habits or food intolerances; or a medical risk such as being underweight, anemic, or history of pregnancy complications.
Total gross household income is also used to determine eligibility. Proof of income is required.

Crossroads Pregnancy Center is focused on offering help and counseling to those experiencing pregnancy.
Services offered include:
-No cost pregnancy testing
-No cost limited ultrasound - to confirm pregnancy and check health of potential pregnancy
-No cost STI (sexually transmitted infection) testing for virus, bacteria, fungus or parasite transmitted through sexual contact. STI's could lead to sexually transmitted diseases.
-No cost prenatal and parenting classes
-Individual counseling for women and/or couples
-Programs that help support men in unexpected pregnancies and to help educate them in preparation for fatherhood
-Relationship education
-Abortion recovery
-Referrals within community
Crossroads Pregnancy Center offers material assistance thru their Bridges Program. By attending educational classes on a variety of topics such as pregnancy, parenting, life and relationships, one can earn baby items. Topics include:
- prenatal care and nutrition - unborn baby's secret world - being a father
- labor 101 - time with toddler - siblings and many more
New classes are added each month. For every class you attend, you earn one [1] point. You can exchange the points for brand new baby items from their Baby Boutique. Some of the items offered are full size crib with mattress, infant or convertible car seat, mini crib with mattress, baby clothes, pack and play, high chair, diapers, nursing supplies and more.
