Scouting America

Scouting America in Huntingdon County empowers youth to grow into confident, responsible leaders through hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, and service to others. With programs designed for children and teens of all ages, scouting helps young people build character, develop lifelong skills, and discover the value of teamwork and community.

Through camping trips, skill-building activities, and service projects, Scouting America provides youth with opportunities to challenge themselves and grow in a safe, supportive environment. These experiences not only foster independence and resilience but also encourage young people to give back to their communities in meaningful ways.

The impact of scouting reaches beyond childhood, instilling values and lessons that guide participants for life. By teaching responsibility, leadership, and respect for others, Scouting America helps shape the next generation of leaders who are ready to make a positive difference in Huntingdon County and beyond.
